Our Mission
The Dean Student Council is a service organization created to serve the needs of our school and the Brown Deer and Milwaukee communities. We will participate in service projects that give Dean School students the opportunity to show care and concern for others through acts of kindness. We will promote pride in our school community by sponsoring activities that create a positive learning environment.

Group Announcements  Pennies for PatientsStudent Council is teaming up with Pennies for Patients for their second service project. Pennies for Patients is an organization that raises money to find a cure for childhood leukemia.
We will be collecting coins from Jan. 30th- Feb. 3rd. Each student will get their own collection box to bring home. On Friday Feb. 3rd, we are having a special spirit day to raise money for Pennies for Patients. You can pay $1 and wear a hat all day long in school. Our goal is that everyone in our school can at least donate $1. Help us reach our school goal, and help find a cure for childhood leukemia. Dean Team Days(Spirit Days)Dean School Student Council brainstormed and planned this year's Team Days. Students and teachers are encouraged to participate to build a sense of community and have a little fun while doing it. The Dean Team Days are as follows:
December 20th-Mixed-match Day Students can mix and match their shoe's, gloves, socks, etc. January 24th-Sports Day Wear your favorite team jersey, t-shirt, or hat Feburary 21st- Twin Day Dress like a friend or teacher, and have fun being a twin for a day March 20th-Pajama Day Wear your favorite pj's and slippers to school April 17th-Rainbow Day Each grade level will be assigned a color of the rainbow. Each student should wear that color t-shirt or shirt on Rainbow day. May 15th-Dressed to Impress This day is an all time favorite tradition here at Dean school. Wear your best suits, pants, blouses, shirts, and dresses. Your teachers will be very impressed. June 5th-Crazy Hair Day Get crazy and design your own hair-do. You can spike it, color it, and or braid it. Your classmates and teachers are going to love it.  Next MeetingOur next Student Council meeting is on Tuesday, December 6th. Please be at school at 8:10am so we can start our meeting.

Pencil SaleStudent Council is selling pencils! We are selling gold and black pencils for 25¢. On the pencil it says Dean Elementary School with a picture of a falcon. Please support Student Council and buy some pencils!
